Barnana Organic Coconut Chewy Banana Bites:
I first discovered these bite-sized banana treats while on vacation in Hawaii and they were the perfect snack while lounging on the beach.
While I’m not one to eat bananas often, every once in a while I do enjoy them. And even better that this product only has two ingredients: banana and coconut. Yum.
I don’t find the banana flavor to be too strong and it’s definitely natural tasting and not that artificial banana flavor. All the company has done is dehydrated the banana and formed them into perfect sized bites and blended them with coconut flakes. The coconut banana bites are organic, non-gmo, gluten-free, vegan and a good source of fiber and potassium.
They do make some other products as well. I tried the banana with chocolate and I didn’t enjoy that one as much. The coconut blend was definitely my favorite as I’m a huge fan of coconut to begin with.
Perfect snack if you’re craving something a little sweet but would prefer the naturally occurring sugar from the fruit instead of added sugars that are often found in other packaged snacks.

Epic Bison Bacon Cranberry Bars:
I’ve been a fan of these bars now for about a year, and I am just getting around to writing about these awesome convenient protein-filled snacks.
Though they make a variety of flavors and protein options (turkey, beef, lamb, and bison) I really enjoy the BISON bar.
Here are the ingredients:
Bison, Uncured Bacon (Pork, Water, Brown Sugar, Salt, Vinegar, Celery Powder, Sea Salt), Dried Cranberries (Cranberries, Apple Juice Concentrate), Lactic Acid, Celery Powder, Sea Salt.
They are not quite jerky tasting or even texturally like jerky. They are more like a pemmican bar. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pemmican
Softer in texture, meaty and slightly sweet but not too sweet.
I love these because there aren’t too many options out there for good-quality protein (these are even from grass-fed bison) that also don’t have additives which I choose to not eat. Many protein bars are loaded with isolates and heavily processed and usually are whey, soy, or hemp based. I prefer these because they are closer to real food in my opinion.
Other benefits: 11 grams of protein, gluten-free, and paleo-friendly
A perfect snack to hold you over after the gym instead of a processed protein shake consisting of non-foods and other sorts of junk.

The Ginger People Organic Ginger Juice:
This is a great product to save time while getting the health benefits of the amazing ginger plant, touted for its many attributes and a flavorful agent to many dishes.
You can use this to marinade meats and fish, make your own salad dressing, add to soups, or add to hot water and enjoy a cup of tea or my new favorite “mocktail” consists of the juice poured over sparkling water and ice.

No need to peel ginger and grate or chop it when all the work is done for you already. Though fresh is always best, this product definitely comes close and gets my approval for a clean product.
Also it’s just great to take a shot of if you’re starting to feel the first sign of a cold coming on!
